I've just acquired this handy (supposedly) gadget, and the packaging was fascinating, not to mention hideously wasteful. But some of the contents of the packaging are a bit iffy. For example, supposedly I can access any FM station manually, bypassing the presets, but this doesn't seem to work; I get the same hard rock stations either way, and I'm looking for classical.
Has anyone had any experience with this item? I did my research before choosing this particular player, and spent a bunch of money for it. Have I acquired a 4 GB dud?
See pages 22 and 23 of the manual for details of FM operation.

Timber - while I was waiting for A2K to come up on the screen I opened the manual to pp22-23.
I'm blushing.
Manuals can be full of fascinating information.

Yup; RTFM
Tech: "Tech Support. How can I help you?"
Panicky caller: "My computer won't turn on - it won't do anything - it just sits there"
Tech: "Is it plugged in?"
Caller: "Well, of course its ... oh. Uhhhhh ... sorry, never mind."
Tech: "Have a nice day."
when all else fails;
read the manual.

I am covered in shame, and have buried my head in a mud puddle.
