This morning, I only saw one.
Wich is a big improvement.
But you know that dirty little thing WAS eating something...
My dish sponge.
So, am I going to have to bag EVERYTHING around here?
Oh yeah, I found the offenders of the roach population.
Yesterday I was clearing away the ice and snow from the balcony and stairs.
I decided to go ahead and do the neighbors side as well.
They have a little boy less then a year old. If they needed to go anywhere, they would hurt themselves like I did.
So, I am by the door banging , cussing, and pouring out hot water .. sometimes all at once.. and he opens the door.
Ok. So, it has been cold.. I guess I can give him some credit, but right by the door is 3 bags of trash, spilling on the floor.
And it smells ROTTEN
When you open our doors you can see the bar above the sink.
His... packed with dishes. ON TOP of the bar.. ?
Couch, covered in books, toys , clothes and there is a little foot path in a pile of mess on the floor to his couch.
I guess my housekeeping is normal. Maybe a bit lax, but nothing like that.
If his apt stays that way most of the time and they are not in the middle of separating and throwing stuff out, the roaches are coming from him. PERIOD.
My downstairs neighbor may be a child abuser, and a wife abuser, but he is spotless. I know for a fact the roaches are not his breeding.
I have seen in his house more then once , and at random times during they day. The man is oddly spotless. With 2 kids and a dog..
So, having seen neighbors scary place.. should I .. I dunno.. ask him ? If he has roaches too?
I dont know what that would do, but I do know that I am going to have to do exactly as Chai said and call the landlord. (sigh) I was really hoping to avoid that.
They tend to use scary chemicals and we dont really have a place to stay over night to keep ourselves from that crap.
