I don't have a photo of my own on this, but it was quail day at my house. I was outside waiting for a friend and all the quail, heading, I think, for the petroglyphs but not sure, were sweeping into the corridor between the duplex I live in and the one across the pathway to the road called Unser. So beautiful.. in flight and in the photo -
Ive added a small bunch of WELSUMMER breed chickens to my flock and theyve been laying eggs that are a very dark brown almost a mahogany color. Ive been walking with crutches the last week and these chickens are all round me when I go outside. They will come running up to the patio and then follow me around a small pasture where I go to do my PT walks every few hours and they stay with me till I go back inside . Im chicken man fighter of crime and /or evil. Accompanying me are my minions.
