Sorry, I don't know what kind of lizard this is, but it's a doozy:

It is rather beautiful. I think it's a fan throated lizard, the sitana ponticeriana

@edgarblythe,
<thank you for telling me>

I like my computer but it is wallowing in obsolescence and I'm off of adobe flash. No, I can not upgrade. I can see videos on the Guardian and, surprise now to me, the nfl website. I have been depressed by so much white space, for me, on a2k, with people all over the place pumping youtube with no explanation, assuming the photo works.

Thanks, edgarB.

@edgarblythe,
vonny, Another yawn. I'm one of those very suggestible people. You yawn; I yawn. Thanks for the lizard info. You're a champ. What is the smoke in the leopard picture? Or is it sand? (I worry.) Not only are birds in the parrot family (cockatoo) smart, but they're beauties as well. I wouldn't be surprised if cassowaries look like very primitive dinosaur birds.

Edgar, Loving the crow. And stunned at how smart it is. Turning the lid to the right side. Not sliding down the roof twice (a rough ride) but using the snow. Wow and a half.

Baby chimp (first steps?):

The pics are magnifico, you guys. Thanks.

vonny, I saw those impalas running, and I wondered whether a cheetah was on the prowl. Then I saw the cheetah.

Andean condor (the largest bird that can fly):
