@vonny,
Geez, vonny, I underwent a small ant attack a couple of days ago. One simple ant bite can make me itch up the wazoo. Two can make me itch up the yazoo. Three, up the kazoo.

I must have had a crumb in my bed. Something like fourteen welts showed up. Luckily they go away in a day or two.

Meantime in the kitchen, they entirely avoided my burritos and all the ingredients.

@FBM,
I was curious so I looked up the answer. It is a gonodactylus smithii mantis shrimp.

(hope you don't mind timur)

@trying2learn,
Thanks for that. I've never seen anything like it.

Something from my afternoon:

@ossobuco,
I know foxes are regarded as vermin by many, but I love them. They visit our garden at night - beautiful creatures. I've never managed to get a photograph - the photographer of the yawning fox was so lucky, and so patient, to snap him at that moment in time.

Why? Spent ages puzzling over it - but can't work out what's so funny. Ahem - okay, I know I'm missing something obvious, but you have me foxed!

@vonny,
How to explain laughing, a fox yawning. It's like breaking down why I laugh on falling down stairs (humans do this, there must be websites on it). I did fall down stairs, a lot of them one day in my early teens - I didn't know then about my peripheral vision, but I remember laughing. I didn't know until I was nearly fifty, but I suspected I was different. It turns out, people do tend to laugh immediately in these situations. A kind of release. Unless of course worse happens.

I've always sort of liked foxes. Sort of get them, as if I was a fox.

The photo of the wide open mouthed yawning fox did it, got me enjoying.
