@Region Philbis,
Found Soul, I've encountered ferrets. Lively but good pets. Thanks for the action pic.

Debacle, If somebody mistakes a ferret for a toy poodle, he gets what he deserves--be it ferret or poodle.

Barry, Why is a goose worried about being an ugly duckling? Animals is confusing.

c.i., El perro es cubano. Muy interesante. Gracias.

tsar, Hitchhikers everywhere.

osso, Three good 'uns. The stork doesn't have the firmest of grasps on the frog.

vonny, What a stunning photo. Quiet, peace, beauty. Sigh.

Reg, Holy moley. Major league beautiful. Love dem wolves. Thanks kid.

London, Are you suggesting that I don't know the story of the Ugly Duckling? Get real. The problem was that I mistook swans for gooses. Are you sure those are swans? They look like geese to me. I've met both species in person.

As long as beauty is subjective, here's a Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle I saw this weekend:

@Roberta,
The first image is an Embden goose, the second is the swan from Wilkopedia - both pretty similar?

Here's a moth I found on my wall yesterday. The moth is very small, about the size of a dime.

@vonny,
FBM, The beetle looks fine to me. A little wet, but fine. Thanks.

vonny, The goose looks goosey, and the swan looks swanny. Am I being difficult? Great fox and cheetah pics. Thanks, kid.

rosborne, The moth is a stunner. Thanks mucho.

Reg, I tell ya. Kids these days. Even a lion can't get any peace.

Pitohui, a venomous bird. Yes, a venomous bird:
