@FOUND SOUL,
timur, Thanks for coming back and enlightening us. Amazing.

Bill, I think I may have actually seen a picture of those once. Also amazing. Who knows what else is floating around in the ocean. As much as I like William Blake, I feel compelled to point out that there ain't no steenkin' animals in that picture.

vonny, As bedazzled as I am, part of me sees some kinda berry thing inside a donut. Throwing in a wow! A clown frogfish!!?? I'm staggered. Here's another wow.

Reg, That flower is in great demand. A hummingbird flapping on line. I'm in awe.

Found Soul, No need to ask. Glad to see you here. Beautiful pic. Thanks mucho.

I tried posting this four times. I keep losing it. I think it's a beautiful snake. Don't know what kind it is. Does anyone know? Is it real?

@Roberta,
The photo comes from what I find to be an odd site, maybe that's just me.

http://www.nairaland.com/1265644/most-beautiful-snake-world-picture

Anyway, I'm a snake dummy.

No, wait, if you click on the photo, the blogspot url shows up as one of the immense ones, but on top of that there's some reference to
the + most + beautiful + snake + in + the + world + naijagists + blog

maybe chasing that down would be useful, but I sort of doubt it.

@Roberta,
It looks like a California Garter Snake enhanced with a little bit of Photoshop.

@rosborne979,
Took this picture at Kaziranga Game Park in India in 2008.
Anyone know what kind of bird this is?

California red-sided garter snake. ehBeth found it. My post didn't disappear. I posted the pic on the wrong thread. Based on the following photo, the color in my first photo seems a bit "enhanced."

A BIT enhanced! I spent absolutely ages looking for your flipping snake last evening - not surprised I couldn't find it! Hey - I've learnt how to identify a lot of snakes though! Laughing

@rosborne979,
Thought it looked like a myna(h). Used to have a girlfriend who was a bird-behaviorist-in-training, and she had a mynah named Gandhi, commonly called Gwuck because that was the noise she made when she was feeling happy or excited (along with this sort of surge forward on her perch). She was named Gandhi because we thought for years she was a he, until she tried to lay an egg ands got egg bound. Only another mynah knows for sure. Very nice bird.

@Barry The Mod,
vonny, The pandas should be arrested for illegal cuteness. Thanks.

Barry, OK. I recovered from the thud. Very wonderful puppies. What does mwd stand for? M = Military? D = Dog?

W = Working.
As opposed to the other animals that are mascots.

@vonny,
vonny, Thanks for the preening fluff balls.

Barry, I kinda thought that W stood for working. Wasn't sure. Thanks, London.

@vonny,
vonny, Great felines. I can't figure out what the cub in the back is doing. Hey, behave yourself. You're having your picture taken. Kids these days.
