April already....
Cyber crime is on the rise and online fraud and identity theft are major issues these days, that's why the Get Safe Online team have teamed with the City of London Police to utilise the talents of Dexter. He's a police dog that can sniff out crime through a desktop computer....

@Barry The Mod,
Barry, I'm glad to see that the London police and Get Safe Online are putting Dexter's talents to good use. Go Dexter! And thanks, Barry!

Possible thump alert - I say possible because I'm not sure if I've posted this one before - or if I'm just besotted with this lion cub!

Bart, a K-9 who served with Indianapolis police for 12 years before retiring, died today after a battle with cancer. Police estimate that Bart caught more than 400 criminals during his time on the force.

@Barry The Mod,
Be at peace, Bart.
And tomorrow you'll be right side up in our memories.

@Barry The Mod,
Hey, vonny. I don't thump. I thud. But I do fondly remember a thumper. The bunny in the Bambi movie. What a cutie. The lion cub looks vaguely familiar. Who cares if you posted if before. Cute is cute. Thanks.

RIP Bart. A beauty. Thanks, Barry.

I don't know if this has already been posted but it's such a lovely story that I thought I'd post it just in case.

You can skip to about 3 minutes in if you just want the meat of the story.

An extraordinary photograph of a bright green grasshopper shedding its old skin, leaving a perfect replica of itself behind. The insect expertly shed its exoskeleton on a piece of grass in a delicate 40 minute process. The image was taken the photographer's his back garden in Mataram, Indonesia.Photograph: Adhi Prayoga/Solent News/vi Guardian

@Barry The Mod,
Wilbur is almost identical to our Harvey - the dog who died in January. Ouch, it hurts to see him - made me cry - but memories are all happy ones now. Bless all the working dogs who are so beautiful and so brave!
