Haven't been here in awhile, and checked back a couple pages and didn't see this posted, I just came across it and was entranced, so wanted to share--sorry if it's a repeat.
A wild dolphin tangled in a fishing line, with a hook stuck in a fin, approached a group of scuba divers watching manta rays off Hawaii and very obviously asked for their help (I'm not sure which version of the video this is--they did get the hook out too in the end).
I think the dolphin was trying to make up its mind whether the divers could be trusted before it approached them. I'm glad they proved worthy of the trust.
