@Barry The Mod,

Motala, age 50, lost his foot after stepping on a land mine.

You know who was likely responsible for the placement of that mine, Barry. Those dickheads, those criminals that you often post on this pages. If this one wasn't one of theirs, well, they get lots of other innocents daily.

Quote:
Since 1975, land-mines have exploded under more than 1 million people and are currently thought to be killing 800 people a month. There seems little prospect of any end to the carnage. In 64 countries around the world, there are an estimated 110 million land-mines still lodged in the ground—waiting.50 They remain active for decades.

Work, work, work. Gang, Thank you all for the magnificent pics. Too tired tonight to mention each one--with one exception. Barry, the mother dog touched my heart. I'm such a softy.

Great barracuda (very silvery):

@snood,
snood, Overwhelmed. Not plotzing. Just overwhelmed. The horses are magnificent. Wow. I believe that the beautiful green snake is a python. Lions are cats. Cats sleep, rest, nap, snooze. Why not lions? I checked on the macaques (snow monkeys). They actually do swim. Whoda thunk? The mother and baby owls are beauties. Hey, ma. My ear itches. Dem peacocks is showoffs. So Gorgeous. Like lace. Stunning. Thanks for all the great pics.

The biggest PC on the planet, the siberian tiger. An adult male can weigh over 650 pounds. That's one big PC:

(Tilons and ligers are bigger, but I'm not counting them.)

The wildebeest migration is one of the most awaited and spectacular events of the year. The whole journey takes approximately 2900 KMs with a large number dying and a large number given birth to. Thousands and thousands of tourists visit Africa just to witness this great natural event!

Not yet.The cull has been delayed (due to weather) till next year,giving more time for folks to to state their case in the courts.BTW,the reason the farmers want them culled is because the powers that be say they spread tuberculosis to cows.
