@Barry The Mod,
Wonderful creatures, horses. One recent evening I went walking through a hay field with mine. I felt just like that little kid.

@hingehead,
Five kittens at one time for a cheetah. Not at all common, is it? The odds of all five making it to adulthood are slim, I'd say.

@msolga,
HH, Wonderful giraffe pic. What's a camel leopard? Couldn't forget it if I didn't know about it. That cheetah mother has her paws full. That's a lot of kids. As for the reptile, I prefer to use eyedrops. What can I tell ya? The PC appears to be a sound sleeper. And what cat isn't? The lizard in the flower is a beautiful photo. Thanks for them all.

Hiya London, Dem shires is BIG. Great pic, kid. Thanks.

olga, I have a crush on David Attenborough. Please tell him I said hi. Glad to see the bug is hanging in. It's a doozy-looking bug. And a gorgeous kitten. Good that there are some left. Sigh. The frog photo has a wonderful quality to it. I had no idea that Panama had a frog festival. I felt an instant connection to the flamingos. Shoulda known they were Bronxites. Thanks for all the wonderful pics.

tsar, Those ovines look kind of grown up to me. But if you say they're lambs I take your word for it. What are they doing in the house? I mean aside from jumping of the furniture and butting heads. Thanks for the video.

Izzie, Welcome back! I missed you and your glorious photos. Thanks for sharing.

In honor of Shark Week on TV, I'm posting one of my favorite great white shark pics. No one was hurt.

Roberta, you are not alone!
Not bad for an 83 year old to have such fine persons as our good selves having a crush on him, hey? Smile

I made the mistake of telling sozlet about this picture before we went to spend a week oceanside. It freaked her out pretty badly. She got over it though. (I love the picture too.)

@Roberta,
Hi noida. A came leopard is what the Romans called a giraffe
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medici_giraffe

It seemed to have the characteristics of both to them.

@Barry The Mod,
Olga, He's mine!

soz, Glad you like that picture, too. Sorry to hear sozlet was scared. Cautious is OK.

HH, Dem Romans didn't know everything. I can imagine the amazement of being confronted by a giraffe. They are so out there in the looks department that I occasionally wonder if such an animal can actually exist. As for requiring that goats be young to call them kids, I say phooey. I call anybody a kid. Age is irrelevant, IMO.

Strauss, Such a pic. You'd think they were eating something delicious. There's no accounting for taste.

Barry, I had no idea that freckled cocker spaniels were used for sniffing drugs. I guess a good nose is a good nose. (Not to mention the ears, in this case.) Thanks, kid.
