@hingehead,
HH, Thanks for the head shots. Re the whale, there are heads, and then there are HEADS. Is that a beluga? As for the guinea pig, wasn't there a song many moons ago called, Please Don't Eat the Daisies? And a movie by the same name. And a TV show. I guess guinea pigs don't care about media. They eat what they want. I'm enamored of the bullfinch, but you know I love dem boids. Close to unconscious from the turtle/tortoise pic. You clearly have no concern for my level of consciousness and how many times I thud on the floor. You just toss in whatever photo you want and let Roberta fall where she may.

jc, I am a squirrel fan. Don't see as many as I used to. Thanks. Also, I just noticed your signature line. Is it new? Have we met? I'm not a JAP, but I've known many. Many.

c.i., Thanks for that glorious photo. Green with envy that you saw that beauty in the flesh. (It could be my cousin Leonard. Not sure.)

@Roberta,
Yep. Baboon at the Seoul Zoo. Wish I could go to where I could get a pic of one in the wild, tho.

@FBM,
Hey, London. I'm overwhelmed. No such thing as too many PCs, and these are all beauties. All. Glad to see they're enjoying lollipop boxes. The black panther appears to be just going through the motions, though. The other PCs seem genuinely enthusiatic.

FBM, Me too. But my traveling days are over.

Fossa. A cat-like animal from Madagascar. Not a cat. Mongoose-like, but not a mongoose. It's a fossa. Very rare.

@cicerone imposter,
In this pic, you can see why it's mongoose-like. Fascinating carnivore. And gawgeous, IMO.

@Roberta,
How do you interpret the looks on his face and body language?

Although I've had the privilege to see many animals around the world, and find them to be fascinating, I'm not sure that I can say they are all "gawgeous!" Mr. Green

@cicerone imposter,
As in art, beauty is in the brain of the beholder. I agree this fossa is gorgeous. Not cute.

This animal is well built, securely functioning well. Muscled to fit function. Excellent coat. Alert.
Handsome face, keen eyes.
Master in place.
