@snood,
Barry, I'm glad to see that the baby dolphin is being taken care of.

Snood, The leopard is spectacular. The gorilla is beautiful. And the snake is a doozy. Thanks for them all.

A friend's dog found these kittens in a nearby meadow. Their mother wasn't taking care of them anymore. Now the dog is sharing her bed with them. Sorry to bore y'all with this stuff; Roberta must be tired of kitten pics by now.

@snood,
I don't know, I haven't asked my friend. Cow milk, perhaps?

@Thomas,
Thanks for posting the pics, kid. Boring as they are.

In fact you know and I know that you know that there ain't no such thing as too many kitten pics. Always wanted a gray cat. They remind me of shadows. Always wanted a black cat. Always wanted a calico cat. Always wanted a Siamese. A Persian. A Maine coon.

Not meant to be. C'est la vie.

@msolga,
Can't help but think that bird is enjoying 'his' bath. Good for him to enjoy his day at the spa. Smile

Roberta, those horses are absolutely stunning! Very Happy

Quality AND quantity of beautiful animals counts as well:

An Okapi (Central Africa). Not quite endangered, but only about 2500 of 'em living. The only known living relative of the giraffe. I think they're cool lookin'.

They always do that, don't they? I think Appaloosas are breedists.

@JTT,
tsar, I ain't fussy about quantity. One beauty, 20 beauties. Either way, I'm happy. Those horses are wonderful. A new breed to me. Thanks, kid.

snood, Yes, okapis are great looking and quite rare, although their numbers are higher than 2,500 (I just checked on Google). They appear to me to be something somebody put together and got distracted. A little bit of zebra. A little bit of giraffe. A little bit of antelope. Great-looking animals.

JTT, The copy with the photo said that the horses were from a wild herd and that the app was the dominant stallion. He looks pissed off to me. Could be a breedist. Or maybe just hot-tempered. I once rode an appaloosa. Loved every minute of that ride.

Roan antelope:

That was tongue deeply in cheek, Roberta.

Ya gotta love every minute of every ride. Being on horseback is simply fantabulous.

@JTT,
You can't possibly think that I didn't know your breedist comment was tongue in cheek. Or maybe you can. I knew, I knew.

Yes, I loved every minute of every ride. But some minutes were more loved than others. My favorite minutes on horseback were when I was walking through the woods down to the water hole. I always got a sense of timelessness. It could have been any century. No signs or sounds of civilization. Sigh.

I don`t know how to answer negative questions like this. You`ll have to wait until OmSigDavid comes along to help, Roberta.

So true. The winds whistling thru the pines, the warmth of the horse seeping into your legs, brooks babblin`, ... heaven.
