OK. I'll stop, I'm getting cold just looking at them - think how many layers the photographer must have been wearing while taking these pictures!

@djjd62,
Thanks, High Seas, for the aquatic mammal pics. Reminds me that we haven't had much of a winter this year.

Barry, So the little pig doesn't want to get her feet dirty. Glad the owners found a way to help her get around.

There's a change in the lineup today. Otters are leading off, with a carrot-eating bunny in the cleanup position. Thanks, dj.

@Rockhead,
RH, It does look skunky. I did some preliminary imvestigating before I postd the pic. I did some more. I think I was fooled. Can't find anything on piebald squirrels beyond what I found originally. Phooey. Embarrassed

They euthanized a giraffe at the zoo yesterday. That might be the one. It had extreme pain. Its front legs were on blocks to take the weight off. It had other issues and they felt it could no longer be helped. It was only 16.

@tsarstepan,
What a striking photo, tsar. Thanks muchisimo.

The largest land predator on the planet? It's a tie (maybe). Some people say it's the polar bear. Others say that polar bears and Kodiak bears are the same size. They're both plenty big.

The famous wild parrots of San Francisco's Telegraph Hill have joined the flight to the suburbs. About 100 or so of the green birds have been spotted on the slopes of San Bruno Mountain in Brisbane.
