@hingehead,
I do love it. I always laughed when my cats got up to major mischief. The worse, the better. Two things that they did that made me noivous: I opened the refrigerator door and found a cat inside. I packed for a trip and found that the funny lump in my suitcase was a feline.

@Roberta,
We lost one of our cats yesterday. Well I couldn't find him anywhere (they're never allowed out) so we figured he must have escaped, so I'm walking around the house outside tapping a tin of food with a spoon (it's worked before) and there he is at the glass doors staring at me and wondering why I'm outside with a tin of food. Still don't know where he was hiding - but will check the fridge next time Smile

My cat George disappeared once when I was living in a second-floor apartment. I assumed he had quickly slipped out on the sly, while the door was opened. He was missing for four days. I posted 'lost' posters all over a couple of neighborhoods. On the fourth day, I returned from work to find George, looking thinner and covered with dust, waiting for me inside my door. turns out he had gotten behind a loose panel on an air duct and had spent 4 days lost or exploring in the heating system of the apartment. It was a funny sight to see him there looking befuddled and dirty, but a biggger feeling of relief I don't know if I've ever had.

@hingehead,
dj, I like the bunny with the flower. Dem bunnies look good in anything. Love those otters.

HH, That is one big, beautiful PC. Hinge and snood. Glad you found your felines.

My late lamented Miranda was always slipping out and exploring the hallway. She was the opposite of shy. If anybody opened a door, she scooted in. I was home and didn't know she was missing. Someone knocked on my door. A neighbor wanted to let me know that Miranda was at her place, enjoying the party. She was a big hit. Party? Hit?

The next time my neighbor had a party, Miranda was invited--and I wasn't.

This is the incredible moment a fox is captured nose-diving into deep snow to catch a mouse. Wildlife photographer Richard Peters took this picture while travelling through Lamar Valley in Yellowstone national park.

Lonesome Billy
Rabbit Bill stars in this brilliant short Western film, Lonesome Billy. The song of the same name was written by Ennio Morricone and Peter Tevis for the movie Bullets Don’t Argue (1964).

@msolga,
Great action shot Olga! Very Happy You can see the glee on the fox's face as he descends for the strike.

Pusuke, a 26-year-old mixed-breed male officially recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s oldest dog, passed away this afternoon at his home in Sakura, Japan.

According to his owner, Yumiko Shinohara, Pusuke had shown no signs of distress until this morning, when he abruptly began refusing food and developed a breathing problem.

He passed away shortly after Ms. Shinohara returned home from a stroll. “I think (Pusuke) waited for me to come home,” she is quoted as saying.

@boomerang,
Thanks for this, boomer. I hope that beautiful Pusuke is romping in dog heaven.
