@snood,
tsar, Precious. I love dem giraffes. Did you ever see a giraffe get born? I saw a film. The mother doesn't lie down. That's a helluva drop.

snood, The whale and diver is a great pic. And I continue to wonder at the sanity of wildlife photographers. The harp seal pup takes my breath away. It's rare to see them swimming. I'm plotzing from the beauty of the translucent shrimp in the anemone. Such a spectacular picture. Wonderful. Thanks mucho.

@djjd62,
dj, Two winners today. Not that there have ever been losers, but, let's face it, some are less superior than others. Still haven't come to a decision as to whether I prefer the floppy eared bunnies or the stand-up eared bunnies.

Bear Attack in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada

These are pictures of an actual polar bear attacking a man.

The pictures were taken while people watched and could do nothing to stop the attack!

Reports from the local newspaper say that the victim will make a full recovery.

The photos are below.

@Thomas,
Smile
You're not supposed to contemplate eating them, Thomas.
You're supposed to wish them a safe journey on their annual migration to breed. Wink
I wish they wouldn't travel on the road, though!

@farmerman,
Oh not you, too, farmer! Smile

I really don't know for sure.
I'd suspect that they would be.

I know. They're supposed to take the ferry around the island. Or at least the bus. Those cheapskates! Razz

@tsarstepan,
Ha.
No, they should take the off-the-road route ... if they want to get there in one bit.

No, they're not, Roberta.
I did a bit of Googling & discovered they're a member of Xanthippe crab family. Definitely not edible.
Sorry about the misinformation last night. I was guessing.
(Don't eat them, Thomas! Smile )
