Sorry, but I don't have the energy to comment on all the pics. I'll just say that they range from wonderful to incredible. Thanks to everybody.

Somebody needs to tell this pooch that dogs can't climb trees.

If someone would have told me about these goats I would think they were lying! I have never heard of such a thing until now.

@Roberta,
Please don't worry about commenting! Lots of other people here do - and lots more are enjoying your thread, judging by the hit count. White-tip shark:

@High Seas,
Arella Mae, It looks like a tickbird on a giraffe. They have a symbiotic relationhip. As for the goats falling down, I've seen this in films. Goats playing dead. Goats in trees. What's next?

That is one daunting photo, High Seas. Shocked White tips are open ocean sharks and can be very aggressive when they encounter humans or anything else that looks edible.

I comment when I can on all the threads I start. I feel like a host.

Here's a blacktip shark:

@hingehead,
Aw shucks, tsar. Thanks.

Thanks for the warning, HH. I'm used to thudding. It's that getting up part I have trouble with. The raccoons are wonderful and fuzzy. The owl surpassed wonderful. Do you know what kind of bird the little gray one is? Delightful.

What's not to wuv, Arella Mae.

I'm guessing dj is busy. I'll fill in for him with the B&O.

@Roberta,
Who does that sea otter remind me of? Wallace Beery?

Thanks, Robbie.

I saw a set of pics the other day about a rabbits' jumping contest and decided against posting that. I tend to like animals as free, first, pets next, training pets as fine, in zoos as better than nothing depending on the zoo, sometimes a lot better, and animals in sport rather poorly except when I can't help myself (see Secretariat, etc.) Animals in dressup tend to aggravate me unless they really do need coats, although I get Wegman mostly.
The bunnies' jumping contest, that was meant well and sort of cute, but I left it.

Well, clearly I'm a moral mess on animals - I can understand long time cultural stuff, don't always like it.
