@Arella Mae,
Dem otters love the snow. I went to google to look for otters playing in the snow. Before I finished typing "in," "the snow" popped up. There are some wonderful videos of this. Sliding and squooging around. Love dem otters.

@ossobuco,
What are prairie dogs? Ground squirrels? Are they related to meerkats?

@hingehead,
Well, they're just there, in the prairies...

One of the first drawings I ever saved was some card with a prairie dog drawing. But, I don't know the details -

@hingehead,
HH, Prairie dogs are rodents and are related to ground squirrels. In fact I think they're a kind of ground squirrel. Meerkats ain't rodents. They're related to mongooses, which also ain't rodents.

@trying2learn,
Osso, The first is lost to me. It was a beauty, IMO. Glad you can see it.

t2l, This makes me sad and makes me smile at the same time. More sad. Dogs are loyal like few other living entities. Thanks for posting it.

WS, It you think this is such a waste of time, why are you wasting your time posting here?

Thanks wolfie and t2l for coming to the defense of this thread, which is near and dear to my heart. BTW, t2l, this isn't my thread. It's our thread. I mean a big our.

Giving the cheetah pic one more try:
