@djjd62,
dj, OMIGOD!!! Thanks for the warning. I'm already in a delicate condition. That bunny is beyond belief cute. The otter is cute too, but, as you said, no competition here.

Not gonna thud. Not gonna thud. Not gonna thud. Not gonna thud.

THUD!

Loving all the dawgs. Loving the birds, especially that goldfinch. Loving that monkey baby.

In honor of St. Pat's day, here's some green.

Does Laa-Laa the yellow Teletubby have a little ginger monkey somewhere amongst her ancestry?

@hingehead,
It's possible, but I don't think so. Chows tend to have smaller eyes and squarer heads. However, I could be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time. BTW, chows have black tongues, but the puppies' tongues are pink. They turn darker as the dogs mature.

Edit. No. I was right. (Stranger things have been known to happen.) They're pomeranians. I found the picture you posted under pomeranian puppies on google.

@hingehead,
One of the cutest puppies I ever saw was a pom. Out in the street. Almost thudded right then and there. Held myself together and went up to the dog owners to tell them how cute their puppy was. Spent some time admiring the cuteness. Do they go nuts, hinge? I haven't had much contact with poms. Most of the dogs I've known personally have been on the large side.

I had a cousin with two great danes, two malamutes, one boxer, three german shepherds and a corgi. I loved visiting him. He also had four horses. Sometimes (rarely) I mingled with my human relatives (usually around meal time).

@Roberta,
They get amazingly possessive of their alpha's and are yappy little sh*ts. Mrs Hinge had a friend whose husband couldn't join her on the bed with the pom going insane.

@hingehead,
Onychophorans are amazing. I first read about them a few years ago and I've never seen one. It's very interesting to see a "new" phylum out of the bunch I'm used to. The difference in body design is incredible.

Onychophorans may have evolved from, or be related to, the hallucigenia of the Burgess Shale...
