Roberta, look but don't touch your email. I think we both got some questionable messages.

I'll repeat, Roberta, don't just open stuff.

(I know this sounds paranoid, but an early friend of both of ours is sending blatz, and I doubt it's that person either, not her mode)

@Francis,
dj, I have to thank you again and again for the wonderful B&Os. They don't fade. Wonderful B. Can't get enough of that O. Thanks for the heelers. Wonderful dogs.

Irish, What a beautiful little bird. Gorgeous. Blue-blue. Thanks mucho. Love the family pick. I've seen films of penguins building nests with pebbles, but never in a pot. Love dem boids.

High Seas, I view you as very fortunate indeed to see otters in the flesh. I fell interested in otters from a wildlife film I saw about the giant river otters of South America. I investigated more. The more I learned, the more I learned to love those wonderful animals.
I'm gonna pretend I didn't notice the No Exit/Sartre interlude between you and Francis

Hi Francis.

There's wildlife photography and then there's wildlife photographers.

Osso, Thanks for the heads-up. I haven't received anything.

@Roberta,
not sure if you saw these, Ceili posted these pics of her dogs on the dog house thread, they're great looking pups, i'm especially enamoured of Seamus

The boys... 1/2 Great Dane/American Bulldog and the Redbone Coonhounds. They are very rare in Canada.
Seamus, Murphy and Finnegan

@Roberta,
The only otters I've ever seen (off the California coast) were sea otters. Not surprising they use tools; you can see their intelligence in their eyes:

@djjd62,
Great dogs - but can get fat without field work. Way smart.

@High Seas,
One more and I'll stop: mama otter carefully cleaning out the meat from a lobster before she gives it to her little puppy:

@High Seas,
You folks are killing me with otter photos. Sea otters are the ones I know, to the extent I do.

@djjd62,
(nudging)
Maybe you should go out and get one right now, dj?
Or tomorrow.
You'd have no regrets, nothing but sheer, unadulterated pleasure.
I can tell from your posts. Smile Wink

LOL! The pictures that have been posted have shown they seem to have a wide range of emotions judging by their faces. They are soooooooooooo cute!

dj, I want Finnegan. Not ideal for the city, but he can adapt. What a face.

High Seas, I agree. You can't have too many otter pics.

Here's a giant river otter with "a Monday morning face."
