This poor little deer was stranded on floating ice in the Baltic Sea. But, he was rescued!

Magnum and Slate seem to have a deal. Anyway, there are compilations on various subjects by magnum photographers that pop up on Slate.com.

These are not the only photographers in the wide world, for sure, but they set a certain pace.

he's a really interesting guy, he's big into trying to get people to grow their own fruit and veg, and raise animals if possible

he's started a land share program in the UK that links unused land with folks who want to use it

These aren't great but I took them last year at a zoo outing. My favorite is the mommy giraffe and the baby giraffe
