Barry, It looks like an Arctic fox, but what do I know? As for the boid pic--scary. I mean SCARY. Great shot. Thanks, kid.

Lions having a little dispute. Hey, Arella Mae, did you know that lions are one of the fastest land animals on the planet. They can reach a speed of 50 miles an hour.

@Roberta,
What an unusual picture of antelope. I have never seen one standing up before. I know they have strong legs but honestly, they look like toothpicks! I am taking in all the new cat info.

Barry, I didn't know that! I thought every cat on the planet purred. Seems I don't know as much about cats as I thought.

I know how that photographer feels. Though JJ does not jump on top of me when I try to take his picture he does walk straight into the camera until all you can see is his nose.

@Roberta,
That's a great antelope action shot Roberta. Do you know what that branch they are trying to eat?

@djjd62,
For Shame DJ! For shame indeed! Sad Chain that camera permanently around your neck! Wink

IrishK. That wolf escapade is wonderful. It might have worked if he was part of at least a pair. Bear chases one wolf away while the other wolf dines and vice versa.

dj, You are borderline forgiven. You get only a small snarl.

Irish, Absolutely amazing pic. Run, wolfie, run. Dem bears is big!

Arella Mae, Gerenuks are also known as giraffe neck gazelles. Their long necks enable them to get at higher leaves than most other gazelles. They add to this advantage by standing on their hind legs to get even higher. If you google gerenuks and then look at the images, you'll see many, many pictures of them eating while standing on their hind legs. Their height is a natural advantage which they add to by doing this.

This lady found a lion in the forest. He was malnourished and she rescued him. This is her being reunited with him. You won't believe this!

Francis, Two glorious photos of white-furred beasties. Thanks.

Arella Mae, Moving video. Thanks.

Barry, Gorgeous boid. Wonderful g'night pic. Wouldn't it be nice to sleep like a cat? It seems that they can be comfortable just about anywhere.
