carbon system, I'm glad you like this thread. I can't see what you posted. I get a red x. I'm going to take the liberty of posting another photo of a red panda. Hope that's ok with you.

@Roberta,
ah, I remember that cute red panda, Roberta.

Speaking of warming the cockles of one's heart. I saw my first hummingbird this evening. It was darting in and out of my hibiscus bush.

@Philis,
Cute! Quite cute little darling. But he looks like he's carved from a single bit of wood with a bit of crystal set in the eye socket....

Letty, That hummingbird pic is spectacular. Thanks mucho.

Thanks, philis, for the turtle and the conch. I hope that baby turtle makes it to adulthood. Lots don't.

Arella Mae. Red pandas are truly wonderful. Here's another:

@Roberta,
Miss Roberta, are they of the same Panda family as the black and white ones? He is soooooooooooo precious. Makes me want one. I know the black and white pandas can be extremely dangerous. What about this little guy? I am rather partial to redheads, being one myself. He's toooo cute! Thank you for posting another pic.

@Izzie,
On my! What breathtaking pictures. That little red panda looks like he has some pretty menacing teeth.

When I lived on a farm in Wisconsin one of our neighbors had a peacock. It was pretty common for farmers to have them. Theirs would wander though. Hearing them scream was frightening at times. We were kind of small kids and when these birds are mad they spread those feathers way out and will charge at you. They are beautiful but intimidating (at least to kids. LOL)
