Glad you like the cat, tsar. I get the feeling that being a bird parent is a very demanding job. Feed me! Feed me! Great pic.

@Roberta,
Hmmm... distant cousins to raccoons and badgers perhaps?

@tsarstepan,
They seem to stand alone in the species department. But they're closer to mongooses than raccoons and badgers.

Seems to me that the fox hasn't fully finished making the transition from summer coat to winter coat. However, maybe this is just the way this fox is.

Yes, that's a bird flying under the water. It's a shearwater.

Austrian-Hungarian white donkeys (no albinos, but donkeys with unpigmented skin and light-blue eyes), photographed last weekend in the Neusiedlersee National Park (Austria and Hungary)

@ossobuco,
Wow on the shearwater, amazing to see, or maybe the word is confounding..

I've another SFgate photo to show - this one made me laugh:

quoting,
It's the opening match of the World Cup! Chimpanzania leads Baboona, 1-0, thanks to spectacular saves like this at Ramat Gan Safari in Israel. As usual, there was controversy over the ball, which the safari attached to international flags dipped in strawberry jam before play. No players seemed to object, however.

@Walter Hinteler,
Oh, no, now I want to have an albino donkey... I wonder if they'd get along with my alpacas in my fantasy farm.
