@tsarstepan,
That slide show was a charmer. I suppose there is a reason human surrogates take over..

@djjd62,
Love the moose video. First time I saw it I sent it to a bunch of friends..

Do you know who the singer is (pardon me, I'm recent music dumb).

@ossobuco,
I think Orion, the one in front is Arabian. I can't remember the other horse's name or what kind he is. These are my trainer's horses. His girlfriend takes amazing photos. I don't know if you can see them on this link, but I think you can:

If you can't see them from the link just look for Anna George. Her profile pic is of her on top of Doc, a huge horse.

Roberta, I do love this thread. Some of the most amazing pictures of the most amazing creatures have left me in awe more than a few times.

@Rockhead,
Thanks, Rock.

I have heard of her and listened to some videos, I think. Hers is not melted into my brain like some other voices, but I liked that.

@dlowan,
They are, of course, known to Australians as "budgies".

The wild originals are smaller than the ones bred in captivity, and always green with yellowish heads:

Here are some wild budgies... they live in quite large flocks:

Damn cockatiel go onto this one!

Babies only a mother could love...and yellow budgies:

When I was growing up, everyone had a budgie, or numbers of budgies. They can be enormously bright and talkative...one learned to play soccer remarkably well.

They are remarkably friendly, social, cheerful little souls. Ours used to fly free inside every night, and would love to come and nestle on our heads or shoulders and chat to us.
