FILE - This undated photo provided by the U.S. Geological Survey shows a mountain-dwelling American pika. The American pika, a small mountain-dwelling mammal in the West that can't tolerate the heat could become the first animal in the continental United States to get federal protections primarily because of climate change. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is expected to announce Friday Feb. 5, 2010 whether the American pika will be protected under the Endangered Species Act. (AP Photo/US Geological Survey, File)

In that first photograph? I bet that horse is disappointed you're not driving a Ferrari.

Izzie, Those ponies are a delight. May I have one please? They're not too big. I suspect that people living in apartments in NYC have dogs that are bigger. Love their rotund bellies and their shortness.

dj, I'm overwhelmed again. Gorgeous shots. Gorgeous animals. And I learned a new boid. Never knew about juncos. What a delicate little thing. Can I have one of them? When it doesn't feel like flying, it can ride the pony Izzie is sending me.

When I was at the hospital yesterday, I went to the garden (as I always do) to look at the boids (pigeons and sparrows). Yesterday, no one was home. You made up for it.

Thanks mucho.
