That's a neat looking animal - almost like the African wild dogs.

Great looking wolf, dem maned wolves. Here's the very endangered Ethiopian wolf. Looks a tad like Wile E. Coyote:

dj, Wonderful pictures. Not sure I ever heard of a bengal cat. A Bengal tiger, but not a little cat. Thanks for the nest, the jay, and the baboon. Also the link.

Mandrill (close relative of the baboon):

some cool pics from the Canadian Geographic Wildlife Photography of the Year
http://photoclub.canadiangeographic.ca/photos/wildlife_contest/images/215421/500x304.aspx

Category Winner - Urban Wildlife

When Mark Bradley got too close to this unusual nesting place in Jasper, Alta., the mother of these tree swallow chicks dive-bombed him, so he backed off and pulled out his 300mm lens. To get this shot, he had to endure strange looks from people who couldn’t understand why he was pointing such a large lens at an ordinary pipe.

Wildlife Photography of the Year (Winners)

love this one

Category Winner - Mammals

After this red fox began frequenting the farm in North Granville, P.E.I., where Ben Boulter works, he brought along his camera, hoping to capture the canid in action. Boulter was rewarded: the fox, nicknamed Lucius, struck this Vogue-like pose for a few moments before heading off.
