@Roberta,
The last line should read, "They look mighty fine."

rosborne, Glad you like the "Eskie." Didn't know that males and females look different.

I have an Eskie. Her name is Dakota.

The females tend to have a slightly less "fluffy" look. Their neck ruff and hind quarters are less full.

Hey reg, Thanks for the frontal view of the Rhodesian.

Rosborne, Dakota is wonderful. What a beautiful face. And thanks again for the info about their different coats on males and females.

I had one of these (spitz) when I was a kid. Loved dat dawg.

@rosborne979,
Loved those Dakota photos, no kidding. Wonderful. Not sure which one I liked better. Maybe number two.

Went to the local pharmacy to get some supplies. Encountered two basenjis (African barkless dogs). Brother and sister, Boris and Natasha. Thirteen years old. Boris is black and white; Natasha is brown and white. Love dem curly tails. Love dem dawgs.

@Roberta,
that is a stink bug.
I remember following little Mo around and showing him how pretty those are.
We have the dark brown/grey/ white color combinations here in Austin..

Boomer sure didnt think they were too pretty Laughing

Oh! What a foxy fox! How endearing is that pose? Makes me wonder: is it begging for table scraps?

@Roberta,
We had a client with nine basengis. I got heel nipped. Neel hipped? Eh. I liked them all. Adored the house and land, client somewhat more askance though not entering the horrid ruler template zone. (Now, years later, I might think she was more nuts or that we were stupid... oh, to have tapes of life.)
Less liked the day, mapping the property at 105 degrees mid day.

Interestingly, I've never researched basenjis...
