Yeah, s/he was banded on the right foot, very regal. Turned to the side so we could see profile, before flying away. Amazing.

Right, Roberta - sort of a riff on red tail hawk, but I forgot the obvious, the name. I saw a field with a lot of them once, in the santa inez valley in CA.
