(from the forum i got this photo from) None of those are photoshopped. Most female chondros go blue during breeding and/or while gravid. This is known as being "hormonally blue". Some of them stay this way, some of them don't.
There are also several localities known for producing really off the wall solid blue snakes, like the Cyclops locale. Kirk Mills in Oregon owns a Cyclops male that is solid blue except for a bit of yellow speckling down the spine.
