Although the twitter poster is wrong - these aren't lorikeets they're mostly King Parrots with a couple of Crimson Rosellas.

Nice looking squirrel. I live out in the country for few years we didn't have any squirrels or rabbits. I've seen a few squirrels over the past year and some (not many) rabbits. I'm wondering if somebody put out some small mammal/rodent poison blocks - probably to get rid of moles and gophers. Oh well, hopefully we continue with the rebuild program!

Edgar, your varmint there looks pretty young; I would say measuring it's time on earth in months!

About every two years the park poisons the small animals - squirrels, raccoons - ducks - geese - That doesn't stop me from giving them a bit of pleasure in their short time on Earth.
