@edgarblythe,
I think it was pbs thatreported the most popular pictures of animals were, in order, elepthants, polar bears, lions and tigers, and gorillas. I.m finding it hard to prioritize, but my top theree are elecphants, primates (gorillas, chimps,bonlbls, orangs, and i suppose humans), and parrots and penguins. what do you want to see?

I love birds, primates, dogs, elephants, and octopuses more than anything.

Extreme High-White Banded California Kingsnake (Portrait)
Lampropeltis getula californiae

Keeping snakes is so popular now that breeders create "designer snakes."

This is a reverse-color California kingsnake that normally in the wild produces banded or striped phases. Reverse color morphs are bred to have more white than brown and are often stunning.

@edgarblythe,
Hey, Edgar, I recognize the gorilla, but who the hell is the guy in your avatar? And what did he do with Edgar.

MJ, I hate to be a pain in the ass (actually I take great pride in being a pain in the ass). I'm trying to be civil.

All monkeys are primates. The primates you're referring to are great apes. And you left out gibbons, which used to be considered great apes hut have been demoted to lesser apes. Oh, the shame.
