a restarting computer problem

Hi everybody, this computer has no updated Mcafee that asks for

registration that we don't have. So, we are unable to do any updating.

The problem is that we can download any antivirus or anti Trojan

programme. The thing is that when we click on a link it will restart itself

automatically or will just blacken. Most of the time restarting itself be

itself!

I'm not speaking about mine, but about my niece's which notices the

Godzilla words on the internet bar which I successfully removed it thanks

for timberlandko and noteapot.

She is careless regarding her pc and never knows that much. It's

because she doesn't often sit infront the home computer except at the

weekends and not all of them.

The restaring things happens when she goes to links like rapidshare or

when she tries to use one of the removing tools I gave!

I don't know what to do, and appreciate any help from you guys.

P.S she is far away, and we contact by MSN or phone.

I suspect that your niece's machine has several problems. Working at a 3rd remove to resolve them is not a very good idea. It would be best, IMO, were she herself to post a help request here, "cutting out the middleman", so to speak.

Hi timberlandko, I'll try to be the speak person and I'll give all the details

from the begining. Not sure about her English though.

Haven't forgotten you, navigator - just haven't had any success yet finding a reputable, well-regarded Arabic resource - still trying. I'm sure The Holidays have something to do with the lag in getting an answer for you; the relevant boards, groups, and forums with which I'm most familiar are pretty quiet right now.
