F*ing all the sparrows he can see
Laugh kookaburra laugh

Kookaburra sit on electric wires,
Tears in his eyes and his pants on fire

Blue Christmas
B.Hayes, J.Johnson (c) 1948

I'll have a blue Christmas without you;
I'll be so blue thinking about you.
Decorations of red
on a green Christmas tree
Won't mean a thing if
you're not here with me.

I'll have a blue Christmas, that's certain;
And when that blue heartache starts hurting,
You'll be doing all right
with your Christmas of white,
But I'll have a blue, blue Christmas.

Say, does anyone know the words to Holly Jolly Christmas?

I haven't heard that in ages.

Have a holly jolly Christmas it's the best time of the year
I don't know if there'll be snow but have a cup of cheer
Have a holly jolly Christmas and when you walk down the street
Say hello to friends you know and everyone you meet
Oh ho the mistletoe hung where you can see
Somebody waits for you kiss her once for me
Have a holly jolly Christmas and in case you didn't hear
Oh by golly have a holly jolly Christmas this year
[ fiddle - guitar ]
Have a holly jolly Christmas...
Oh by golly have a holly jolly Christmas this year

Holly jolly Christmas, edgar and all!

I can tell that I finally feel Christmas-y, because I woke up with Holly Jolly Christmas stuck in my head! And I loved it! I'm gonna have to decorate today...

Ohhhhhhhhh, (*ahem!* 'scuse me, just finding my note...)

Last year, I heard Holly Jolly Christmas 24/7. This year, I have heard it just once. To my knowledge, no single tune has caught fire this time. The station I play most has a pretty good mix.

Christmas Time Is Coming By Bill Monroe

Snowflakes falling my old home is calling
Tall pines are humming Christmas time is coming.

Can't you hear them bells ringin' ringin' joy to all hear them singin'
Let it snow and I'll be going back to my country home
Christmas times a' coming Christmas times a' coming
Christmas times a' coming and I know I'm going home.

Holly's in the window home where the wind blows
Can't walk for running Christmas time is coming.

Home fires burning my heart's yearning
For the folks at home when Christmas time is coming.

Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

It doesn't show signs of Pauseping,
And I've bought some corn for popping,
The lights are turned way down low,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

When we finally kiss goodnight,
How I'll hate going out in the storm!
But if you'll really hold me tight,
All the way home I'll be warm.

The fire is slowly dying,
And, my dear, we're still good-bying,
But as long as you love me so,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Winter Wonderland (Or the un-traditional one for)

Lacy things -- the wife is missin',
Didn't ask -- her permission,
I'm wearin' her clothes,
Her silk pantyhose,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear.

In the store -- there's a teddy,
Little straps -- like spaghetti,
It holds me so tight,
Like handcuffs at night,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear.

In the office there's a guy named Melvin, He pretends that I am Murphy Brown.
He'll say, "Are you ready?" I'll say,"Whoa, Man!" "Let's wait until our wives are out of town!"

Later on, if you wanna,
We can dress -- like Madonna,
Put on some eyeshade,
And join the parade,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear!

Lacy things... missin',
Didn't ask... permission,
Wearin' her clothes,
Her silk pantyhose,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear,
Walkin' 'round in women's underwear!
