Feels like I am the only person that absolutely loved Vincent Gallo's The Brown Bunny! This true?
I loved the blanks stretches of empty, endless, destination-less journeying, the poignant connections between the people he met along the way, the visual beauty of the motorcycle ride through the salt flat, the depth of the lonlieness with which the entire movie was filled.
It is such a carefully crafted, gorgeous movie. I cannot believe they boo'ed it at Cannes.
Why isn't Vincent accorded the respect he (imo) deserves??
oh, I LOVE Vincent Gallo.
I'll come back and read your post tomorrow.
getting...very...sleepy...
*phew* now there's 3 of us in his fan club.
