hiya,
help needed!
riddle: for what it's worth......1 will cost u £1, two will cost u £2 and 32 will cost you £2......how comes?
Shipping and handling costs?
Hmm, I have heard this one before. I remember there being multiple possible answers but they elude me.
If it's a lateral thinking puzzle I can already give you a few answers (Acquiunk just gave a perfectly valid answer if it's lateral thinking).
Re: riddles Plzzzzz help me! need answer to this riddle

The only thing I could come up with is related to weights and measures...
32 Fl. Oz would be equeal to 2 Pints.
1 Pint = £1
2 Pints = £2
32 oz. = £2
????
That's another perfectly valid answer! If this is a lat think one.
I think we should ask dlowan for the answer.
It may have something to do with rabbits.
Well, the only thing I'm not sure of is the English measures. Since the riddle is in pounds.. Are US measures a valid answer? I don't think 32 fl oz (UK) = 2 UK Pints but I'm not sure.
It has to do with purchases in a hardware store.
Numbers for houses.
Except that the riddle has gotten screwed up somehow.
1 will cost you $1.
2 will cost you $1.
12 (a 1 and a 2) will cost you $2.
And so on.
Yup that's the riddle I remember!
Doh! That's REALLY lateral thinking.. House numbers. Yeash. Yeah, I'd have gotten that! Not in this lifetime... lol
I was thinking that 1 would be 1£
Two would be 3£ (T+w+o)
32 would be 2£
