After a brief web search on the prospects of Computer Engineering, I find that the information provided are mostly 'cookie-cutter' ones. Sure, they say that Computer Engineering allows you to specialize in areas such as biomedical engineering, computer-aided design, computer vision and image processing, digital signal processing, embedded computing systems, microelectronics, intelligent systems, and etc.
But what I really want to know is, what exactly do you do in those fields and which fields are the more ?'exciting' ones. Especially so at entry-level and when you are not really ?'talented' =(
PS: I do realise that what I'm asking is pretty tough(to get an answer), but heck, it doesn't hurt to try =)
Take a look at various job opening descriptions on this page for computer engineers. It should give you a good starting point at learning what computer engineers do in the various industries.
