Start by Googling "developing countries" <-- just put that search into Google, including the quotes. Why? Because you have to start by defining your terms and narrowing things down. Then you might want to try limiting your paper to just a few of said countries, seeing as you're going to quickly find out that there are several. As for knowledge, ha, that's also incredibly vague and broad. Knowledge of what, exactly? Technology? Medicine? Law? Agriculture? Nutrition? Finances? Industry? Dog grooming?

And, you might want to speak with your instructor about getting a far less vague and broad topic.
