Still taking pictures of people at rest,
Smiling at men who are never impressed,
Always working hard down on bended knee,
Who else but me can see the change in louise?

Ride louise, ride (yeah) let me be your guide
I'll take you any place you wanna go, (yes I will)
Ride louise, ride (yeah) let me be your guide
And I'll show you all the things you want to know (if I can)

Livng her life at a speed all her own,
Talking to people where ever she goes,
Always working hard she won't disagree,
Who else but me can see the change in louise?

Ride louise, ride (yeah) let me be your guide
I'll take you any place you wanna go, (yes I will)
Ride louise, ride (yeah) let me be your guide
And I'll show you all the things you want to know (if I can)

Slow Ride

Feels like nothin happens fast enough
Well maybe I just want too much
But when something's wrong between us, Baby
Nothin feels right.

I think it's time we cleared the air
Take a long drive far away somewhere
Tell me everything you feel inside
we got nothin but time.

Slide over, Baby
Here by my side
I wanna take you on a Slow Ride
On a Slow Ride.

Your history shows on your face
Yeah, you've been hurt you've been betrayed
Now we can't change the past, but we can
Leave it behind.

We'll forget about tomarrow, Baby
We'll just steal away into the night
And we'll just be two shadows, Darlin'
In the dashboard light.

Slide over, Baby
Here by my side
I wanna take you on a Slow Ride
On a Slow Ride.

Easy Ride

And I know
It will be
An easy ride, all right
And I know
It will be
Easy ride, ok

The mask that you wore
My fingers would explore
Costume of control
Excitement soon unfolds

And I know
It will be
Easy ride, yeah
Joy, for vaguely
Which' your pride
Which' your pride, yeah

Black polished stone
Black polished stone
I see your eyes
Like burnin' glass
Like burnin' glass
Hear you smile, smile, babe

The mask that you wore
My fingers would explore
Costume of control
Excitement soon unfolds, hey

Easy, baby

Call the queen, now
Be my bride
Ragin' darkness
By my side
Seize the summer
In your pride
Take the winter
In your stride

Let's ride, yeah
Easy, easy, easy
Easy, easy, ease, easy
Yeah, yeah, ride
Dum, dum, dum, dum
Dum, dum, dum
Ride

Ride cowboy ride
Through the backdoor to heaven
To the other side
I wanna know the danger of a kiss
At midnight
Ride Cowboy Ride
Yeah I learned my lesson
Here's the story I told
So I make my confession
In this sleezy motel
I could be the matter
I could try my best lie
But I ain't got the money
And we ain't got the time
Ride Cowboy Ride
Through the backdoor to the heaven
To the other side
I wanna know the danger of a kiss
At midnight
Ride Cowboy Ride
So you wanna be a cowboy?
Ride Ride Ride
Wanna be a big shot?
Baby come on
Ride Ride Ride

When The Night Comes
(Adams/Vallence/Warren)

HOLD ON I'LL BE BACK FOR YOU IT WONT BE LONG
BUT FOR NOW THERE'S SOMETHING THERE THAT'S CALLING ME
SO TAKE ME DOWN THAT LONESOME ROAD
POINT ME EAST AND LET ME GO
THIS SUITCASE WEIGHS ME DOWN WITH MEMORIES

I JUST WANT TO BE THE ONE YOU RUN TO
I JUST WANT TO BE THE ONE YOU COME TO
I JUST WANT TO BE THERE WITH SOMEONE WHEN THE NIGHT COMES
LETS PUT ALL OUR CARES BEHIND US
AND GO WHERE THEY'LL NEVER FIND US
I JUST WANT TO BE THERE BESIDE YOU
WHEN THE NIGHT COMES
WHEN THE NIGHT COMES

TWO SPIRITS IN THE NIGH
WE CAN LEAVE BEFORE THE MORNING LIGHT
WHEN THEIRS NOTHING LEFT TO LOSE
THEIRS NOTHING LEFT TO FEAR
SO MEET ME ON THE EDGE OF TOWN
WON'T KEEP YOU WAITING I'LL BE AROUND
THEN YOU AND I WILL JUST ROLL RIGHT OUT OF TOWN

I JUST WANT TO BE THE ONE YOU RUN TO
I JUST WANT TO BE THE ONE YOU COME TO
I JUST WANT TO BE WITH SOMEONE WHEN THE NIGHT COMES
LETS PUT ALL OUR CARES BEHIND US
AND GO WHERE THEY'LL NEVER FIND US
I JUST WANT TO BE THERE BESIDE YOU
WHEN THE NIGHT COMES
WHEN THE NIGHT COMES

I KNOW THERE WILL BE A TIME FOR YOU AND I
JUST TAKE MY HAND AND RUN AWAY
PICK UP ALL THE PIECES OF THIS SHATTERED DREAM
WE'LL MAKE IT OUT SOME DAY
WE'LL BE COMING BACK TO STAY

I WANT TO BE THE ONE YOU RUN TO
TO BE THE ONE YOU COME TO
I WANT TO BE THE ONE YOU RUN TO

I WANT TO BE THE ONE YOU RUN TO
I WANT TO BE THE ONE YOU COME TO
I JUST WANT TO BE THERE WITH SOMEONE
WHEN THE NIGHT COMES
LETS PUT ALL OUR CARES BEHIND US
AND GO WHERE THEY'LL NEVER FIND US
I JUST WANT TO BE THERE BESIDE YOU
WHEN THE NIGHT COMES
WHEN THE NIGHT COMES

Look out across the fields, see me returning,
Smoke is in your eye, you draw a smile.
From the fireplace where my letters to you are burning,
You've had time to think about it for a while.

Well, I've walked two hundred miles, now look me over,
It's the end of the chase and the moon is high.
It won't matter who loves who,
You'll love me or I'll love you
When the night comes falling from the sky.

I can see through your walls and I know you're hurting,
Sorrow covers you up like a cape.
Only yesterday I know that you've been flirting
With disaster that you managed to escape.

I can't provide for you no easy answers,
Who are you that I should have to lie?
You'll know all about it, love,
It'll fit you like a glove
When the night comes falling from the sky.

I can hear your trembling heart beat like a river,
You must have been protecting someone last time I called.
I've never asked you for nothing you couldn't deliver,
I've never asked you to set yourself up for a fall.

I saw thousands who could have overcome the darkness,
For the love of a lousy buck, I've watched them die.
Stick around, baby, we're not through,
Don't look for me, I'll see you
When the night comes falling from the sky.

In your teardrops, I can see my own reflection,
It was on the northern border of Texas where I crossed the line.
I don't want to be a fool starving for affection,
I don't want to drown in someone else's wine.

For all eternity I think I will remember
That icy wind that's howling in your eye.
You will seek me and you'll find me In the wasteland of your mind
When the night comes falling from the sky.

Well, I sent you my feelings in a letter
But you were gambling for support.
This time tomorrow I'll know you better
When my memory is not so short.

This time I'm asking for freedom,
Freedom from a world which you deny.
And you'll give it to me now,
I'll take it anyhow
When the night comes falling from the sky.

In That Great Gettin Up Mornin (edited)

I'm gonna tell you bout the comin of the judgement
Fare thee well Fare thee well

There's a better day a comin

In that great gettin up mornin Fare thee well fare thee well
Oh preacher fold your Bible
For the last soul's been converted

Blow your trumpet Gabriel
Lord how loud shall I blow it
Blow it right calm and easy
Do not 'larm all my people
Tell them all come to the judgement

Can you see that forked lightning
Can you hear that rumbling thunder
See them stars a falling
Can you see the world's on fire
Can you see them sinners rising
See 'em marching home to heaven
Fare thee well poor sinners, fare thee well fare thee well
Fare thee well poor sinners, fare thee well fare the well

Oh, i'm so alone.
Hey daddy, daddy, daddy, daddy, daddy, daddy, daddy, now.
No, no, no!!!
No, no, no!!!
Alright!!!
Alright!!!
Oh, lord, lord, lord, lord!!!

Hon, when i'm sittin' round late in the evenin', child,
Wonderin' why, why, why did i ever leave, whoa, yeah.
Sit around, i'm a-wonderin'
Why, why did i ever leave,
Hey, i gotta know now.
Well, i went out searchin' for somethin', baby,
I left it behind me, honey, now i see, yeah.
Well alright, well alright.

Well i guess i move once too often, babe,
An' i woke up and found myself alone.
Whoa, i guess i moved just one too many times,
Woke up an' found myself alone,
Hey, i don't like it!
Cold sheets made me realize
Catch me, daddy, 'cause i'm movin' on.
Hey, hey, whoaaa !!!

Come on up, come on up, come up i've got to move on
Come on up, because i've got to go
Because you know i got to find me my baby, yeah
I got to find me my baby, yeah
You know i got to find me my baby, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
I've got to find me my man, come on,
Come, take it on down, take it on down now,

A little softer babe, said a little softer babe,
S-s-s-softer now, you like it like that,
Said i like it like that,
Feels so good to me, feels so good to me, yeah, yeah

I like it like that, yeah i like it like that.
Honey, i wanna kneel till i get to ya,
I wanna tell you something baby
I wanna tell you something baby now
I wanna tell you about my baby, lord
Tell you 'bout my man.

You know, i want ya, need ya, i gotta have ya
'cause i want ya need ya, 'cause i gotta have ya
'cause this my-my-my-my-my-my-my-man
My-my-my-my-my-my-my-man now.
Said i want you i need you, babe i've gotta have you,
I want you i need you, babe i've gotta have you,
I've been lonely in the morning
Hon, i've been lonely at night.
I've been lonely in the afternoon
I said, "janis, you know it ain't right".

Baby, it's time you would hold me
Yeah, hey, comin' home, babe,
Yeah, hey, comin' home, babe,
Yeah, yeah, comin' home, babe
Yeah, yeah, comin' home, babe
Yeah, yeah, comin' home, baby.
Whoaaa!!

Oh, i might take a plane, baby,
Oh, i might take a train, baby.
Oh, i guess i might finally walk in there,
'cause i gotta, gotta, gotta, gotta,
I say alright!
Yeah!
Ooh!
Hey!

I said i'm goin' on down to brownsville
Gonna take, take, take your ride and roll,
Whoaaa, if you see me my baby, comin', oh, come on, comin' home,
Alright!

Well, there was this movie I seen one time,
About a man riding cross the desert
and it starred Gregory Peck.
He was shot down by a hungry kid
trying to make a name for himself.
The townspeople wanted to crush that kid down
and string him up by the neck.

Well, the marshal, now
he beat that kid to a bloody pulp
as the dying gunfighter lay in the sun
and gasped for his last breath.
Turn him loose, let him go,
let him say he outdrew me fair and square,
I want him to feel what its like
to every moment face his death.

Well, I keep seeing this stuff
and it just comes a-rolling in
And you know it blows right through me
like a ball and chain.
You know I cant believe weve lived so long
and are still so far apart.
The memory of you keeps callin after me
like a rollin train.

I can still see the day that you came to me
on the painted desert
In your busted down Ford and your platform heels
I could never figure out why you chose
that particular place to meet
Ah, but you were right.
It was perfect as I got in behind the wheel.

Well, we drove that car all nigh into San Anton
And we slept near the Alamo,
your skin was so tender and soft.
Way down in Mexico you went out to find a doctor
and you never came back.
I would have gone on after you
but I didnt feel like letting my head get blown off.

Well, were drivin this car
and the sun is comin up over the Rockies,
Now I know she aint you
but shes here and shes got that dark rhythm in her soul.
But Im too over the edge
and I aint in the mood anymore
to remember the times when I was your only man
And she dont want to remind me.
She knows this car would go out of control.

Brownsville girl with your Brownsville curls,
teeth like pearls shining like the moon above
Brownsville girl, show me all around the world,
Brownsville girl, youre my honey love.

Well, we crossed the panhandle
and then we headed towards Amarillo
We pulled up where Henry Porter used to live.
He owned a wreckin lot outside of town about a mile.
Ruby was in the backyard hanging clothes,
she had her red hair tied back.
She saw us come rolling up in a trail of dust.
She said, Henry aint here but you can come on in,
hell be back in a little while.

Then she told us how times were tough
and about how she was thinkin of bummin a ride
back to where she started.
But ya know, she changed the subject
every time money came up.
She said, Welcome to the land of the living dead.
You could tell she was so broken-hearted.
She said, Even the swap meets around here
are getting pretty corrupt.

How far are yall going?
Ruby asked us with a sigh.
Were going all the way til the wheels fall off and burn,
Til the sun peels the paint
and the seat covers fade and the water moccasin dies.
Ruby just smiled and said,
Ah, you know some babies never learn.

Something about that movie though,
well I just cant get it out of my head
But I cant remember why I was in it
or what part I was supposed to play.
All I remember about it was Gregory Peck
and the way people moved
And a lot of them seemed to be lookin my way.

Brownsville girl with your Brownsville curls,
teeth like pearls shining like the moon above
Brownsville girl, show me all around the world,
Brownsville girl, youre my honey love.

Well, they were looking for somebody with a pompadour.
I was crossin the street when shots rang out.
I didnt know whether to duck or to run, so I ran.
We got him cornered in the churchyard,
I heard somebody shout.

Well, you saw my picture in the Corpus Christi Tribune.
Underneath it, it said, A man with no alibi.
You went out on a limb to testify for me,
you said I was with you.
Then when I saw you break down in front of the judge
and cry real tears,
It was the best acting I saw anybody do.

Now Ive always been the kind of person
that doesnt like to trespass
but sometimes you just find yourself over the line.
Oh if theres an original thought out there,
I could use it right now.
You know, I feel pretty good,
but that aint sayin much.
I could feel a whole lot better,
If you were just here by my side to show me how.

Well, Im standin in line in the rain to see a movie
starring Gregory Peck,
Yeah, but you know its not the one that I had in mind.
Hes got a new one out now,
I dont even know what its about
But Ill see him in anything so Ill stand in line.

Brownsville girl with your Brownsville curls,
teeth like pearls shining like the moon above
Brownsville girl, show me all around the world,
Brownsville girl, youre my honey love.

You know, its funny how things never turn out
the way you had em planned.
The only thing we knew for sure about Henry Porter
is that his name wasnt Henry Porter.
And you know there was somethin about you baby
that I liked that was always too good for this world
Just like you always said
there was something about me you liked
that I left behind in the French Quarter.

Strange how people who suffer together
have stronger connections than people who are most content.
I dont have any regrets,
they can talk about me plenty when Im gone.
You always said people dont do what they believe in,
they just do whats most convenient, then they repent.
And I always said, Hang on to me, baby,
and lets hope that the roof stays on.

There was a movie I seen one time,
I think I sat through it twice.
I dont remember who I was or where I was bound.
All I remember about it was it starred Gregory Peck,
he wore a gun and he was shot in the back.
Seems like a long time ago,
long before the stars were torn down.

Brownsville girl with your Brownsville curls,
teeth like pearls shining like the moon above
Brownsville girl, show me all around the world,
Brownsville girl, youre my honey

You say you're not from Texas
Man as if I couldn't tell
You think you pull your boots on right
And wear your hat so well

So pardon me my laughter
'Cause I sure do understand
Even Moses got excited
When he saw the promised land

That's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
But Texas wants you anyway

That's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
But Texas wants you anyway

See I was born and raised in Texas
And it means so much to me
Though my girl comes from down in Georgia
We were up in Tennessee

And as we were driving down the highway
She asked me baby what's so great
How come you're always going on
About your Lone Star State

I said that's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
But Texas wants you anyway

That's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
But Texas wants you anyway

Oh the road it looked so lovely
As she stood there on the side
And she grew smaller in my mirror
As I watched her wave goodbye

Those boys from Carolina
They sure enough could sing
But when they came on down to Texas
We all showed them how to swing

Now David's on the radio
And old Champ's still on the guitar
And Uncle Walt he's home with Heidi
Hiding in her loving arms

That's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
But Texas wants you anyway

That's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
But Texas wants you anyway

They're OK in Oklahoma
Up in Arkansas they're fair
But those old folks in Missouri
They don't even know you're there

But at a dance hall down in Texas
That's the finest place to be
The women they all look beautiful
And their men will buy your beer for free

And they'll say that's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
But Texas wants you anyway

That's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
But Texas wants you anyway

So won't you let me help you Mister
Just pull your hat down the way I do
And buy your pants just a little longer
And next time somebody laughs at you

You just tell 'em you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
But Texas wants you anyway

That's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
That's right you're not from Texas
But Texas wants you anyway

She was bored and lonesome
I was new in town
And when her dark brown eyes lit up
There might be no touchin' down
Double-divorced and drinkin' doubles
Well, we soon became fast friends
Now I've been cut by diamonds
And I'm on the road again

I'm waltzing across Texas
All alone and I don't know why
She looked at me one morning
With the light gone from her eye
Waltzing across Texas
It's the only step she knows
And if I can't see those brown eyes shine
Then I'll take my blues and go

That poodle dog was barkin'
At her door all through the night
And deep inside her dark brown eyes
I could see the rising light
Then it was gone, quicker than it started
Hallelujah and goodbye
She wound up bored and lonesome again
I took off on the fly

Now I'm waltzing across Texas
All alone and I don't know why
She looked at me one morning
With the light gone from her eye
Waltzing across Texas
It's the only step she knows
And if I can't see those brown eyes shine
Then I'll take my blues and go

Evacuation Of The West (a.k.a. No More Kings In Texas)

It was on the day the cowboys were abandoned from the ranch
Middle touch world as a master
They rode their ponies down in the cities of gold
To leave them for ever after
Now the sun was swollen red and old
The earth it was windy, dark and cold
Were the highway ends the desert takes its toll
Sodusty, red and angry
It was a time when men died out on the praire
From not having a decent friend
At nights the ghosts to the more of riders
Was a howl in the candid winds

You can here them crying
Good god, i think they're dying

When them rangers down in dallas
Had all, but given it up and left
And those that hang on hoping
Was trying their best to, to forget
The way those outlaws and desperadoes
Right from the cheapest to the best
Rode in on ponies made of skin and bones
Keep up their rusty guns and went back home
And the governor was sent down from population control
And marshall all was past
Riverboat gamblers put their money on faith
For the time for hope they passed

In the cold blue light of the desert night
There was a thousand starry ships
And men came down from still i don't now where
With death on their fingertips
Now there's no more kings in texas
I swear they rounded up each and everyone
And old atlanta canastoga
Reached from the rocky mountains into the old dead sun
Now anna maria walks the blames alone
The last of a struggling people
She thinks of all those outlaws who wanted to reach for the skies
And got stuck up on a steamboat
Oh, you can hear them crying
Good god, i think they're dying
In the wind you can hear them sighing

Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
You been out ridin' fences for so long now
Oh, you're a hard one I know that you got your reasons
These things that are pleasin' you
Can hurt you somehow

Don' you draw the queen of diamonds, boy
She'll beat you if she's able
You know the queen of hearts is always your best bet
Now it seems to me, some fine things
Have been laid upon your table
But you only want the ones that you can't get

Desperado, oh, you ain't gettin' no youger
Your pain and your hunger, they're drivin' you home
And freedom, oh freedom
well, that's just some people talkin'
Your prison is walking through this world all alone
Don't your feet get cold in the winter time?

The sky won't snow and the sun won't shine
It's hard to tell the night time from the day
You're loosin' all your highs and lows
Ain't it funny how the feeling goes away?

Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
Come down from your fences, open the gate
It may be rainin', but there's a rainbow above you
You better let somebody love you, before it's too late

Ah there are no letters in the mail box
There are no grapes upon the vine
There are no chocolates in the boxes anymore
And there are no diamonds in the mine
Well you tell me that your lover has a broken limb
Youre feelin kinda restless now and its on account a him
Well I've seen the one in question it was on a summer day
He was eating up a lady where the lions and Christians play

I'm gonna leave
Ol' Texas now
They've got no use
For the long-horned cow
They've plowed and fenced
My cattle range
And the people there
Are all so strange

I'll take my horse,
I'll take my rope
And hit the trail
Upon a lope
I'll bit Adios
To the Alamo
And turn my head
Toward Mexico

I had a dream
I had a dream
I had a dream, Joe

I had a dream, Joe
You were standing in the middle of an open road
I had a dream, Joe
Your hands were raised up to the sky
And your mouth was covered in foam
I had a dream, Joe
A shadowy Jesus flitted from tree to tree
I had a dream, Joe
And a society of whores stuck needles in an image of me
I had a dream, Joe
It was Autumn time and thickly fell the leaves
And in that dream, Joe
A pimp in seersucker suit sucked a toothpick
And pointed his finger at me

I had a dream,
I had a dream,
I had a dream, Joe

I opened my eyes, Joe
The night had been a giant, dribbling and pacing the boards
I opened my eyes, Joe
All your letters and cards stacked up against the door
I opened my eyes, Joe
The morning light came slowly tumbling through the crack
In the window, Joe
And I thought of you and I felt like I was lugging
A body on my back

I had a dream,
I had a dream,
I had a dream, Joe

Where did you go, Joe?
On that endless, senseless, demented drift
Where did you go, Joe?
Into the woods, into the trees, where you move and shift
Where did you go, Joe?
All dressed up in your ridiculous seersucker suit
Where did you go, Joe?
With that strew of wreckage
Forever at the heel of your boot

I had a dream
I had a dream
I had a dream, Joe
I had a dream
I had a dream
I had a dream, Joe

She's got a slant 6 mind and a supercharged heart,
The little princess is singing about her parts,
She says, "Come hither", but when I get hither she is yon.
I was looking for what I loved. Whatever it was, it's gone.

TV spreads and tension mounts,
Like a guy in a bra it's the idea that counts,
It's a picture of a picture of a whore holding a picture of a john.
I was looking for what I loved...

In the chemical fields by ammonia light,
I would offer my prayer to the Corn Goddess tonight,
but they chopped off her head and stuck her body out on the lawn.
I was looking for what I loved...

My generation takes what it can get,
Are you surprised that the kids are all upset?
They're looking at Nothing and Nothing turns away and yawns.
I was looking for what I loved...

Can't go to the country - the country isn't there,
It got chopped up and mortgaged and vanished in thin air,
It's a paint-by-number and it costs a million bucks down at the pawn.
I was looking for what I loved...

An electronic head and feet of clay,
gonna be a lotta roadkill on the Information Highway,
Someone stole the video of the everfresh and lovely dawn.
I was looking for what I loved...

You might be streetwise. You might be real bad,
I guess you forgot that you also are a dad,
Your kids won't forget it when they're trying to find someone to lean on
I was looking for what I loved...

The little towns are lying on their faces,
All that's left are fading parking spaces,
It's been quite a week, there was a drive-by shooting in Lake Wobegon.
I was looking for what I loved...

A Native American told me this whole deal's a mistake,
and this implosion is just icing on the cake,
If the Great Spirit is gambling, I'd say the con is a bigger con.
I was looking for what I loved...

I tried to find out
What love is all about,
And every day
It sure lets out.
I see my baby
I get week in my knees.
There's nothing shaking
But the leaves on the trees.
My pappie told me
There'd be times like these.
There's nothing shaking
But the leaves on the trees.

We meet the gang
And go to rocking joes.
The cats are something
On the heels and toes.
I grab my baby,
Tried to give her a squeeze.
There's nothing shaking
But the leaves on the trees.
Why must she be
Such a doggone tease?
There's nothing shaking
But the leaves on the trees.

She's got a way
That makes me act like a fool.
Spent my money,
Then she plays me cool.
I beg her for kisses
On my bended knees.
Oh won't you give me
Some loving, baby,
Please please please.

Though I keep trying hard
To make her mine,
One day the wind will blow
And the sun will shine.
Till that time
She puts my heart at ease.
There's nothing shaking
But the leaves on the trees
She locked my heart
And threw away the keys.
There's nothing shaking
But the leaves on the trees, yeah.

She's got a way
That makes me act like a fool.
Spent my money,
Then she plays me cool.
I'm begging her for kisses
On my bended knees.
Oh won't you give me
Some of your loving, baby,
Please please please.

Though I keep trying hard
To make her mine,
One day the wind will blow
And the sun will shine.
Till that time
She puts my heart at ease.
There's nothing shaking
But the leaves on the trees
She locked my heart
And threw away the keys.
There's nothing shaking
But the leaves on the trees
There's nothing shaking
But the leaves on the trees
There's nothing shaking
But the leaves on the trees
There's nothing shaking
But the leaves on the trees

When I look at her, my love just goes deeper
Nothing anyone can do to take us apart
She could leave me and my love'd be with her
I love her, I truly do, with all my heart.

I wake up at 6 am, my babies not by my side
What can I do but run and hide
I thought what we had, was there to stay
Guess I was wrong, in a'plenty way

I yearn for her love, but it's just not there
What did I do that made her heart tear
I can't find love like this again
Not when, not when she goes

I burnt the photographs
The time together, when she laughs
All the memories, gone, forever lost
All these feelings, turned and tossed

Nothings going my way
Everythings in disarray
I want everything back
Put our love back on track

I yearn for her love, but it's just not there
What did I do that made her heart tear
I can't find love like this again
Not we she goes, not when she goes
Not When
Not When
Not When She Goes
