So you're going to play tour guide for the next couple of days? Sounds like fun. I've got to head back up to NYC this afternoon, not really looking forward to it.

I'm not going that far north, the heavy snow is along Lake Ontario. Some places have gotten up to 10 feet of snow in the past week or so.
They are saying that conditions are right for a classic nor'easter coming up from the south, and that could drop a lot of snow along the coast from Virginia to Boston.

Oxie...here's one for you from our news room today......motorcyclist vs Horse..motorcyclist goes head to head with horse on hwy 160....guess who won?...motorcyclist died...horse is now grazing happily in his pasture Rolling Eyes

That was a no-brainer ... we've lost riders who hit raccoons. BTW why was the horse on the road? In a contest with a four-wheeler the outcome would have been different.

apparently someone left the gate open and yes if he had been in a four wheeler...there would be hamburger for days all over the place

The father of a woman I knew in Ohio had a similar sitution, one of his horses got out of the pasture and got hit by a car killing the driver. Some fines were levied against him but the only way recourse the drivers family had was to sue him in civil court.
