Yes, I realize it could be worse. I usually look on the bright side.
Yesterday was pita day though....
Even though I know it could have been worse...
Just east of St Louis ... it's been single-digit temps for about two weeks. We are normally at or above freezing. I know it's worse in other places, it's just way below our normal.
My job keeps me here. And the fact I really like Baltimore.
My biggest complaints about here is the weather...
Yes, there are nicer places to live, weather-wise, but then it seems other things balance out the pretty weather, like earthquakes, tornados, etc.
Makes me feel like I should be content with ice and humidity.
That, and I have have a real appreciation for those few days we get that are beautiful and perfect!

Red ... you have to live there from June-August and it's 22 hours of sunshine!

I wish that I could live there just for the experience!! Flu going to Alaska would be a dream come true for me buddy! I might just jump all over that one cause we have some firends that live on the Island of Vancover

Carribou do you dogster.com? Cause my dog sadie does!
Nope, but it looks like a cool site...

Oxy we just got done a few weeks of abnormal weather. Temp. was way above the normal for two months.
Red, I'm sure you remember my stories about my trips to Alaska (my best vacation). It's unreal the amount of fishing you can get in when the sun is up for 22 hours. My motto on those trips is "I'll sleep when I get home!" On some days, I landed over 50 salmon and lost as many (only got to keep three). Wish I could tell you all about it without using a keyboard!
Yes, we just got finished with abnormally warm temps. too.
How soon I forget.
