Sorry about that, got kicked off!
Mine's one I already experienced. Spent two weeks in Alaska three years ago with the wife and another couple. They drove up and spent the summer there in their 30' trailer and we flew up, rented a car in Anchorage and met them at Denali Park. Saw the bears, wolves, caribou, moose, eagles and of course mosquitos. You can't take private vehicles into the park past the main compound so all the trips to the interior are by Park Shuttle buses. We left Denali after three days and headed south to the Kenai Peninsula for salmon fishing. I had made several trips before and knew the technique for catching red salmon ... had to teach the others, but once they mastered it, we were bringing home limits every day! We would fish for three days then take a day off to smoke the fish at our cabin. Read a good book or watch the hillsides thru the spotting scope for bears while the salmon smoked. Then we would vacuum pack the smoked fish and head out again the next day. We brought back about 150 lbs of smoked red salmon.
