heck i lost a day just trying to understand what they were trying to tell me!!!!
we stayed at an all-inclusive resort. it was nice. Huge though! I didn't have any problems with my lack of Spanish. Even when we left the resort, it seemed that everywhere we went, people understood English, but I didn't have any complicated conversations either!
Coming back, it seemed strange not to say "Hola"

all-inclusive is the only way to go if you ask me. i really only had problems understanding one lady. unfortunately she was our "director of activities" at our resort!
we stayed at the cancun palace.
all-in was great. Not having to think what food and drink costs is great! But we got real tired of the food at the buffet.
Everything at the resort was huge. Lots of walking, too much to see. Even the buffet was so big it would take a week to get used to where everything should be. Hard for me to settle down. I like to get a good look at everything before chilling. Impossible task at this place!
Next time, maybe something smaller.
i'm gonna go to caribou. it's taking forever to post anything. red must be "lurking"!
