yeah. i'm pretty sure that it has one of the highest if not the highest homicide rate in the nation. that's why we only went to the french quarter during the day. :wink:

we had a new orleans style party when we got back. little suckers came to us still alive! freaked me out. i won't eat them but hubby loves them!
