TTH how you feeling? and did the doc say? Laughing

Doc said he is worried, my lungs aren't sounding so great. I told him another section ripped again (my right lung is tearing away from my chest wall and is behind my sternum pushing into the left lung). All due to prior surgeries. He is also worried about my weight. Did I mention he is cute?

Nope you didn't mention it ...but it helps....so what's the options?

He is married Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

No options, already went to the University of Washington Medical Center
One of the best known for lung transplants. They can't do anything. Oh well
they only did what is known. This wasn't suppose to happen. They said they have never seen it before. It is not textbook translation=can't touch it with a ten foot poll. Possible lawsuit. Pretty much guaranteed me that if they go in I will lose the right lung. They don't know how to put it back or with what. Sucks kinda Twisted Evil

End result=when it totally tears away and pushes the left lung into the heart they have to go in and I loose both lungs together. Mad

No, because I will lose both at the same time.

You should see how they cut me open. Left side=middle of chest all the way to left side of underarm. Right side=back, going along my rib cage. It kinda looks funny. Especially the back. They did a decent job though.

Way too much scar tissue to attempt to even go in. That is another reason they won't until it is life threatening (kinda ironic) by that time it is too late.

The MRI and Cat Scan showed it was stable a year ago (looks funny to see your lung sideways). About 2 months ago a big section ripped though. I feel it every time. I only feel the tearing from the chest wall, lungs don't have nerves so they don't really hurt.
brb
smoke break
oh yeah doc says "stop smoking"

Nope, lungs don't move back. They can move forwards and backwards, the docs told me that, they have never seen one move sideways. I guess I am kinda unique. Smile

He did prescibe a new medication (the pharmacy will have it tommorrow).
It is suppose to make you stop smoking. It is a pill. It doesn't make you sick or nothing so I said I would try. In the mean time I have to take the dreaded Prednizone (sp?). This always pisses my sister-in-law off because taking that killed her mom. Her mom was on it long term though.

The last surgery I had (I have had 5) I actually argued with the anesthesiologist. He wanted me to sign paper work saying they could force air in my lungs if necessary on the operating table. I told him he was freaking nuts, no way. Ya, just blow them apart. I wouldn't sign.

Here is a picture of the area that I live in. This is the mountain where I have a 1 acre full view, private road, all utilities in, surrounded by old growth cedars, had a 4 bedroom septic installed, didn't build a house yet because deer live there. I go feed them sometimes.
This is my favorite mountain. When I fly out I try to sit on the side of the plane so I can see it and then depending on where I am flying to, I like to see Mt. St. Helens also.

did you see this? I just love to look at the mountain.

Good Mornin' world ... some of the newbies mentioned it was hard to identify with us lacking an actual pic and that we change them so often. Always willing to help ... meet me and new grandson ... born Oct 24th. I'll try not to change for awhile and am always happy to show of the little guy. Please no off-color comments about the dufus holding the baby! Laughing
