Almost 80 here yesterday and 29 this morning. Turned heat on in my office last night before i left so it would be nice and warm when i got here this morning. Well i guess unit went poof in the nite cuz when i walked in,it was 49 in here. Might as well go outside and work my deals.. BRRRR !!

Sorry to keep jumping in and out but I'm trying to get my end of month reports out so I can get out of here. My wife send the weathermen on the DC stations are acting like the second ice age is coming. They just love spreading panic amongst their viewers.

Hey Coon ... I never asked ya - What is yer weapon of choice? We have to use shotgun/slug or muzzle-loader here. Used my .270 back in Montana and Oregon. Used to shoot my own handloads ... boy you could really reach out and touch with those. :wink:

I can make a bad shot and still get em though.. I like the head shot or neck.

Hell, the sound would prob'ly kill em' Coon or at least leave em' in a state of shock so you could just lasso em' and throw em' in the back of your truck!

Just at the start of season last year we had a nice 8 pointer enter the parking garage of a local hospital here. When it passed the automatic doors, they automatically opened and the buck went inside. They finally cornered him in the Ultra-sound lab where a young pregnant lady was having here tummy scanned. Caused quite a stir. They got him out of there, but he didn't survive the wounds he got in the capture.
