This is a message from my daughter- (Challie)
I wonder if anyone in the U/K can help me. I took my c.s.es o,levels and c.e.es in 1984/85
and have mislaid my certificates. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I could go to get duplicates. I have tried A.Q.A but no-one seems to cover Berkshire area. Any help would be appreciated. I am getting desperate to trace them so I may further my career.

Hi, Challie's Mum.

To apply for duplicate certificates or a statement of results, you need to contact the relevant awarding body.

Examinations taken with OCR (Oxford and Cambridge and RSA Exam board).
http://www.ocr.org.uk/index.html (email them if you can't find the relevant section)

Or......

Examinations taken with Edexcel (University of London and BTEC examinations).
http://www.edexcel.org.uk/home/

Or.......

AQA (Replacing the old AEB and NEAB awarding bodies)

AQA do not have details of how to apply for lost certificates on their website yet, but you can always contact them by writing or email to request the relevant application form....
http://www.aqa.org.uk/

I think this about covers all of them, but you can always just ask them in an email, giving the location of your school where the exams were sat, and they should be able to steer you in the right direction.

I'm pretty sure there is a fee charged for the "search". The fee is per exam, I think.....eg....£20 a search x 4 exams = £80.

Hope this helps, and good luck.

Good luck, anyway.
