Printer Problem

Sometimes when I want to print a page part of the right hand side of the text is cut off. Is there a way to adjust the printer so that all the text will print? Thanks for any help!

Victor - does this only happen when you print web pages? If so it's pretty standard behaviour. Web pages are written with printing in mind. Try setting the paper orientation to Landscape. Or copy and paste the page into Word first.

It only happens at a few sites. Here is one of the sites that I can't print everything on the right side. http://www.tvdvdplanet.com/movies/western/Maverick.html?gclid=CPLhp9qsx4gCFUcZFQodUUm7Lg

As I suspected - the problem is due to the design of the web page.

They've used a fixed width table to control layout (see the first couple of strings of this tag):

<table>

Another solution is to select the text you want to print (click and drag your cursor) then go File>Print and check the radio button that says 'Selected text'.

HTML was never meant to be printed (it's about content not format) which is why decent sites often offer a 'Print Friendly Version'.

On the bright side at least you know it's not your printer that's the problem.
