I recently upgraded my graphics card so I could play a new game I purchased. I Installed a NVIDIA 7600 GeForce GS. The game works fine but I can't play any Windows Media videos. I get sound and a black screen. I not able to play old videos I saved.
I deleted Windows Media Player and reinstalled it with the current 11 version but it still doesn't work.
Anyone know what's happening?
Hi Xingu
This forum recommends installing AGP drivers:

Or getting rid of the card!
Thanks for the site.
I have some additional information.
First I have not deleted the old graphics card software from my computer. I don't know if it makes any difference if it's still on there.
Second, whenever I boot up I get this message from my NVIDIA icon on the bottom right hand corner of my screen;
Quote:SLI multi-GPU rendering has been disabled.
SLI multi-GPU rendering has been changed to independent GPU rendering because one of your SLI cards has been removed.
SLI multi-GPU rendering requires two or more graphics cards.
Could either of these have anything to do with my problem?

Thanks for the info. I downloaded their fix and it worked. However the video is going to be a real problem.
