A co-worker/friend had been caught stealing clothes. This was her first offense -ever. The problem is she is a RN in the State of PA and is worried about a suspended license. At this time she has some issues- tied up with a dirt bag, abusive boyfriend who let her do his. There is a part of me that wishes she would get into some sort of trouble so that she would start getting back to the real world. She makes 50K a year and really deserves no sympathy but she is my friend. Does anyone know if he RN licsense will be affected?
why don't you look it up on the nursing board of examiners for that state?
I've had two long term state licenses, one in medical technology and one as a landscape architect, both in California - but I haven't looked up the fine points of loss of license through "moral turpitude". I must have had a clue back when I took my boards. They probably don't use those words now. At any rate, you can certainly ask the state board or just go to the web site and look around for the relevant wording. There are apt to be indicators on the site of where to email for clarification.
